NOTW- March 19, 2013

Hello readers! I've been doing my best with posting new things, and I know I haven't been doing it as much as I've been wanting to, but don't worry because I will never stop!:)

This week's nails are in celebration of Spring's arrival tomorrow!
Linen (left), Sea (right)
I used my favourite line from Sally Hansen, the Smooth and Perfect polishes. These are my absolute favourite pastel nail polishes to wear. They are the only two that I own from the line, but I can tell you right now, I will be buying all of the shades at some point. I applied two coats to get a more opaque look. I think one thing that I looooove about these polishes is the bottles- look at how cute and square they are! My advice to you guys: go out and spend all of your money on these nail polishes!

NOTW- March 12, 2013

I repaint my nails every week, and I last night I asked myself, "Mandy, what is the point of painting your nails if you aren't going to even mention them on your blog?! It sort of ruins the idea of having a beauty blog, but I don't know I'm just saying"....

So I followed my inner voice and decided to come up with this new segment called....

NOTW (Nails Of The Week)..... Creative, right? I know.

Every Tuesday I will be updating my NOTW, and the picture will be posted on the right-hand side of my blog so you can just click it and check out my nails! Eeeep, isn't this exciting? I think it is!

For this week's nails, I decided to go very simple with one colour. Not multi-coloured, not a fancy-shmancy design, just simple mint coloured nails.

Guess how many coats this is.... three? two?

One. This is one coat. One flippin' coat of nail polish.

I was flabbergasted when I first put on this nail polish! It's the new line of nail polishes from Covergirl. It has a built in top coat so you don't need to go that extra step with applying a top/clear coat! This fast-drying, long-lasting, opaque nail polish has won its way to my heart.... and nail polish collection. The shade that I am wearing right now is Mint Mojito, which by the way, is one of my favourite colours ever!!

I highly recommend you guys go out and buy some (or all) of these polishes, because they will not let you down!

Let me know what you guys think of the line if you have already tried it!

xx Mandy

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish Review

If you guys remember my Boxing Week haul from a few weeks ago, then you'd remember my purchasing of an Xtreme Wear nail polish from Sally Hansen. Now, I've owned a few of these nail polishes before and I know how amazing they already are, but I wanted all of you to know about them!

First of all, I've been wearing this nail polish for about a week now and there are only a few chips in two of my nails! It's always a great feeling when you find such a nice nail polish that lasts a while. Whenever I go out and buy some of these polishes, I get overwhelmed by all the colours that are available, which is probably why I don't buy too many of them at once or else I'll end up buying all of them. On my shopping spree, I only got one of them so I could try out other polishes. The shade I got was Shade #060 in Lacey Lilac. I can't even begin to tell you how gorgeous this colour is. So many people told me they loved the colour, aswell! It's definitely a great pastel colour that I'll be wearing a lot more in the spring time.

HOW CUTE IS THAT COLOUR?

Sorry, I get excited over nail polish sometimes...

Anywhooo, I give this nail polish a 4.5/5! One of my favourites!
